Testimonials

Feedback from facilities and operators who have implemented International Ride Training programs

“The iROC program has helped create a culture of excellence, accountability and teamwork across our operations. It has galvanized and professionalized the role of our ride operators, providing a clear, practical framework that focuses on the things that matter most: safety, consistency, guest experience, and operational excellence. Beyond the operational improvements, it has brought our teams together across the portfolio under a common standard, creating stronger collaboration and shared pride in what we do. It has strengthened our safety culture by reinforcing best practices every day, not just during training. We are noticing the increasing engagement and professionalism it has inspired in our frontline teams, and we see the program as an important vehicle to develop future operational leaders. In addition.. the energy, passion, and commitment that the iROC team brings to our parks has been instrumental in making the program so successful.”

– Brad Loxley, Chief Operating Officer, Parques Reunidos

“IRT’s Efficiency Study at Drayton Manor was one of the most useful pieces of operational work we commissioned all season. What struck us most was not the throughput numbers, compelling as they were. It was the finding that efficiency simply had not been built into our training or our operating culture. Almost none of our operators had ever been given a throughput target or taught why it mattered. That single insight reframed how we think about ride operations. The recommendations were practical and, just as important, tested on the platform with our own teams rather than handed to us as theory. On Loki we saw throughput improve by roughly 60 percent and on WaveSwinger by close to 40 percent, most of it from procedural change rather than capital spend. I would recommend an IRT Efficiency Study to any operator who wants honest, ground-level insight they can act on the same week.”

– Frederic Boulva, Chief Operating Officer, The Looping Group

“iROC has made our work both more efficient and safer on our rides in Tivoli Gardens. We now have clear performance indicators that make our efforts to optimize safety more tangible and measurable. At the same time, operational workflow has become more efficient, and we have reduced duplicate work. The implementation of iROC has raised the standard of our operators’ performance and gives new colleagues a solid understanding of ride operations before they even have their first day on a ride. Although implementing iROC has been challenging in an organization like Tivoli Gardens, where many seasonal operators return year after year, it has also created a stronger safety awareness among individual ride operators. The number of human errors has been reduced because all employees follow the same established procedures and guidelines. Training has become more structured and streamlined, which has helped make our employees even more professional in their work. Safety has always been a key priority at Tivoli Gardens, but with iROC it has been further strengthened and made more visible throughout the organization. Other departments have also gained a greater understanding of the importance of safety and the processes that support it. It has also been valuable to have an external perspective on our work. When outside experts help keep us up to date on safety practices, we continuously gain fresh insights into areas that we might otherwise have become blind to over time.”

– Carsten Sylvest, Area Manager Safety and Security, Service & Security, Tivoli Gardens

The result has been a more uniform and reliable approach to slide operations, contributing to a safer and more enjoyable experience for all."
