Auditor

 

International Ride Training, the Gold Standard in Ride Operations Safety Services for the Attractions Industry, is expanding! We are seeking a motivated, safety-focused auditor to join our team. The Auditor will support all of IRT’s auditing programs for clients worldwide. This role involves extensive travel to client facilities to conduct ride operations certification and performance audits, and to serve as a representative of IRT to existing clients.   • The International Ride Operator Certification or “iROC” program – the world’s only third-party certification of ride and aquatic operator safety, professionalism, and efficiency;
  • Learning the ROPES: Ride Operations Professionalism, Efficiency, and Safety – an online training program specifically designed for front-line ride operators.
  • ADA FAQ: Disability Training for the Attractions Industry – a first-of-its-kind accessibility training program targeted toward front-line employees in the attractions industry;
  • On-Site Auditing programs for all aspects of ride operator performance and documentation compliance; and
  • In-Person training and development programs for all levels of the attractions industry.

Who Are We Going To Hire? We’re looking for an Auditor to join our team.  We are offering a base salary range of $45,000 to $55,000 depending upon experience and qualifications.  IRT also offers:

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three to five years of full-time supervision / management experience in Ride or Aquatic Operations at an amusement park, theme park, water park, or family entertainment center. Prior experience with the International Ride Operator Certification program is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently to meet assigned tasks by established deadlines.
  • Ability to travel extensively (may include International Travel) and sometimes on short-notice. This position is expected to travel approximately 90% of the time from May through August, with considerable travel throughout the rest of the year as well.
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours, including weekends.
  • Ability to write analytically and professionally in an efficient manner.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with both clients and internal IRT Team Members and Owners.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Software products preferred, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with relevant ASTM F24 and/or EN Standards for ride operation preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site performance and certification audits at client facilities in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and/or Europe as assigned.
  • Ability to write reports regarding information gathered during an audit and the ability to showcase findings.
  • Facilitate client meetings to review audit results after completing on-site ride operations audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Where Will You Work? International Ride Training is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. However, this is a remote position, with work to be carried out and finished on the road.   Candidates residing in Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or New Hampshire are preferred.
