Patty Beazley
Patty Beazley, a native of Nashville, Tennessee, is a managing member of International Ride Training, LLC and When Pigs Fly: Creative Operational Concepts, LLC. She has over 40 years of operational experience in the areas of amusement rides and water park safety, educational facilitation, leadership training and human resource functions.
Patty began her career at Opryland USA Theme Park in Nashville, Tennessee as a front-line employee. When Opryland closed in 1997, Patty was the Director of Operations. She then took on the role of General Manager at Nashville Shores Water Park. She has serviced the amusement industry since 2002 as a consultant. During this time, she has serviced over 90 clients worldwide.
Patty graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology. A former full time secondary and post secondary instructor and guidance counselor, she continues to teach as an adjunct faculty member for a local college. Patty served as the Education Chair Person and Seminar Director of Amusement Industry Manufacturer and Suppliers (AIMS) from 2007 – 2014.
She is a member of ASTM International, International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and the World Waterpark Association (WWA). Patty was awarded the Harold Chance Award for Best Presentation at the AIMS Safety Seminar in 2004; Antonio Zamperla Safety Award in 2005 and Best Presentation at the WWA Seminar in 2005. She has had published works in various industry publications. In September of 2018, Patty was the feature article of Amusement Today, “Women of Influence.”
Patty loves the outdoors and sports! Notably Notre Dame football, Tennessee Titans, and the Lady Vols.
